Help the general...fund

RESULTS FROM THE 2005 BENJAMIN RANDALL OFFERING

For more information about the FWB Home Missions Department (now North American Ministries), please visit www.FWBNAM.com.

EACH NOVEMBER, THE BENJAMIN RANDALL OFFERING GOES to the Home Missions general fund. Through the general fund, the department supports the various ministries of Home Missions, including the following:

  • The primary goal of Home Missions is to plant churches in North America, including isolated areas with few or no Free Will Baptist churches, the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Mexico, and Canada.

  • The Church Extension Loan Fund or CELF provides financing for home mission churches to construct new buildings. The fund enables mission churches to obtain a loan that might not be available from a bank or lending institution due to the mission status of the church.

  • Home Missions promotes evangelism, church growth, follow-up ministries, and new methods among Free Will Baptist churches through support services, materials, and publications.

  • Home Missions approves and endorses candidates for chaplaincy in the armed forces of the United States. Free Will Baptists currently have chaplains serving in the Air Force, Army, and Navy.

  • Cross-Cultural Ministry reaches the world on our doorstep. Free Will Baptists currently minister to Hispanics, Slavic-Russians, and Koreans, and many other ethnic groups. Home Missions plays a vital role in reaching across ethnic barriers with the gospel.

We challenge every church to participate in this year’s Benjamin Randall Offering on November 19, 2006.
