Yearly Offering brings in $348,711.08 for Home Missions

The Home Missions family wants to thank each donor who took part in the annual Benjamin Randall Day offering! Between the years 2000 through 2006 the offering has raised $2.5 million.

It is crucial that new churches continue to be built throughout North America (our Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria.) Free Will Baptists must reach across this vast area to share Christ with those who need to know Him. We must strengthen existing churches and build new churches. If we fail to do so, it will not be long before we have no students to attend FWB colleges, pastors to fill pulpits, missionaries to go overseas, or church members to support them.

This year will be my last to coordinate the offering. In January 2008, after 18 years, I will step down from my position as director of development. The 27-year journey has been exciting (beginning with the nine years I served on the Home Missions Board).

David Crowe will replace me as director of development.  David is an outstanding man with fresh, new ideas. I know you will help him as he wears several hats including director of development, manager of the Church Extension Loan Fund, and coordinator of the Benjamin Randall offering and capital stewardship campaigns.

November 18, 2007 is a very important day—Benjamin Randall Day. This date has been designated for the annual Home Missions Day offering in honor of Benjamin Randall, one of the founders of the Free Will Baptist denomination. Make this offering the best yet. If every church participates, we could easily raise more than $500,000.
